Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crossed Patterns by Jon Carsman was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in October 2006. The price achieved of USD 480.00 (€ 375.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Jon Carsman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Haunted Flickerings in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,602.42).

Die Arbeit Crossed Patterns von Jon Carsman wurde im Oktober 2006 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 480,00 (€ 375,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jon Carsman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Haunted Flickerings im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.602,42).
