Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Wind by Jon Burgerman. The price achieved of HKD 4,410.00 (€ 528.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jon Burgerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jon’s Pizza Shop Project in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,410.00 (€ 4,503.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wind von Jon Burgerman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.410,00 (€ 528,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jon Burgerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jon’s Pizza Shop Project im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.410,00 (€ 4.503,47).
