Despite a disappointment, a good price for Jon Burgerman
This work of art by Jon Burgerman could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction, the work Jon’s Pizza Shop Project changed hands for HKD 4,410.00 (€ 4,503.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Jon’s Pizza Shop Project is the most expensive artwork by Jon Burgerman that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Jon Burgerman
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jon Burgerman konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Jon’s Pizza Shop Project für HKD 4.410,00 (€ 4.503,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Jon’s Pizza Shop Project das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jon Burgerman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
