In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Self Portrait In Studio by Jolly Koh. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,351.59), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jolly Koh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Road to Subang II, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,200.38).

Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self Portrait In Studio von Jolly Koh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.351,59) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jolly Koh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Road to Subang II beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.200,38) versteigert wurde.
