Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 660.00 (€ 968.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Comus And The Lady Benighted in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 9,400.00 (€ 15,615.27).
