Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Wilson Carmichael - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Opening Engagement At Trafalgar; H.M.S. 'Royal Sovereign' Raking The Stern Of The Spanish Flagship 'Santa Ana', which sold at auction in January 2018 for GBP 237,000.00 (€ 270,601.06).
