A top price for Hamilton Macallum
In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction Victorian Pictures, which included the work Walberswick Ferry (1875) by Hamilton Macallum. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,132.50 (€ 23,158.44). With this result, Walberswick Ferry (1875) is even the most expensive work of art by Hamilton Macallum that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Walberswick Ferry (1875) von Hamilton Macallum zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.132,50 (€ 23.158,44) einen neuen Besitzer.
