A top price for John Steeple
In July 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours including Original, which included the work The stepping stones (illustrated); and Driving the cattle home by John Steeple. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 537.75 (€ 812.66).
