Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abstract Sketch, 1970s by John Passmore was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of AUD 12,300.00 (€ 7,372.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Passmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Water'S Edge #2 in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 203,150.00 (€ 119,908.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Abstract Sketch, 1970s von John Passmore kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 12.300,00 (€ 7.372,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Passmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Water'S Edge #2 im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 203.150,00 (€ 119.908,54).
