Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Further Lane by John Register was sold in the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,283.62). Admittedly, works by John Register have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waiting Room For The Beyond, 1983 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 119,062.50 (€ 102,844.00).

Die Arbeit Further Lane von John Register wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.283,62) einen neuen Besitzer.
