Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cattle in a meadow by John Pedder was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2000. The price achieved of GBP 460.00 (€ 752.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by John Pedder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Corrie Kinloch, Sutherland; and Loch Merkland, Sutherland in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,661.56).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 460,00 (€ 752,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Pedder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Corrie Kinloch, Sutherland; and Loch Merkland, Sutherland im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.661,56).
