The work Reflections Xxviii by John Peart was sold in the COLES MYER COLLECTION auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004. It achieved a price of AUD 239.00 (€ 139.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Peart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Light and Shade in August 2003 with an auction result of AUD 15,275.00 (€ 9,023.73).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Peart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Light and Shade im August 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 15.275,00 (€ 9.023,73).
