Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by John Nash achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Willows sold for GBP 11,520.00 (€ 13,349.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Window In Bucks in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 375,000.00 (€ 440,528.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von John Nash erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Willows für GBP 11.520,00 (€ 13.349,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Nash erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Window In Bucks im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 375.000,00 (€ 440.528,40).
