Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Farm in a Hollow by John Nash was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,612.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Window In Bucks in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 375,000.00 (€ 440,528.40).
