The »bidding war« ended at GBP 600.00 (€ 891.14), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Nixon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musicians practising in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,834.53).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 891,14) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Nixon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musicians practising im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.462,50 (€ 10.834,53).
