Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Leo Borrack could be acquired at Christies in Sydney in August 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction, the work Jesse Gap, Northern Territory changed hands for AUD 470.00 (€ 277.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Leo Borrack achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work High Summer, Mernda in November 2004 with an auction result of AUD 5,019.00 (€ 2,923.43).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit High Summer, Mernda im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 5.019,00 (€ 2.923,43).
