A top price for John Leigh-Pemberton - as previously expected
The work Study of a glass coach by John Leigh-Pemberton was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,565.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Study of a glass coach is the most expensive artwork by John Leigh-Pemberton that we have observed at auctions so far.
