Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coldstream Guards drummer; and Another similar by John Leigh-Pemberton was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,192.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by John Leigh-Pemberton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study of a glass coach in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,565.19).
