A top price for John Kalamaras - as previously expected
This work without title by John Kalamaras was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2010. The auction ended at the price of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,530.34), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by John Kalamaras that we have observed at auctions so far.
