Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Jon-And could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm auction, the work Reading figure changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,639.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Jon-And achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 480,000.00 (€ 55,823.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von John Jon-And konnte im April 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit Reading figure für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.639,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Jon-And erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 480.000,00 (€ 55.823,43).
