Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John Jon-And could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderna auction, the work "Förlovningspromenaden" (The engagement walk) changed hands for SEK 190,000.00 (€ 20,252.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Jon-And - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan), which sold at auction in October 2012 for SEK 480,000.00 (€ 55,823.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von John Jon-And konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Moderna wechselte die Arbeit "Förlovningspromenaden" (The engagement walk) für SEK 190.000,00 (€ 20.252,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Jon-And mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Slussen" (The lock, Trollhättan) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für SEK 480.000,00 (€ 55.823,43) versteigert wurde.
