The work Ships at the coast by John James Wilson was sold in the Eclectic, Stockholm S193 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in August 2010. The price achieved of SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,495.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by John James Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing in the channel in July 2002 with an auction result of USD 9,560.00 (€ 9,759.09).

Die Arbeit Ships at the coast von John James Wilson wurde im August 2010 in der Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S193 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.495,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
