Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,991.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Henry Dolph - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Cat And Lobster, which sold at auction in March 2010 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,317.31).
