Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 4,182.50 (€ 3,154.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Henry Dolph - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Cat And Lobster, which sold at auction in March 2010 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,317.31).
