Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the river Tweed, near Peebles; and Loch Muick, near Ballater by John Henry Boel was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 771.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
