Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 979.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Henry Boel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Highland cascade, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 1,912.00 (€ 2,862.09).
