Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II auction, the work Portrait No. 5 sold for USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,521.20) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Graham Coughtry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Figures Viii, which sold at auction in December 2009 for CAD 60,000.00 (€ 40,018.14).
