It achieved a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,521.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Graham Coughtry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Figures Viii, which sold at auction in December 2009 for CAD 60,000.00 (€ 40,018.14).
