It achieved a price of GBP 938.00 (€ 1,152.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John George Sowerby - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Michelmas Daisies, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,917.63).

Für andere Arbeiten von John George Sowerby mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Michelmas Daisies beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.917,63) versteigert wurde.
