Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 4,212.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by John Gantz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2000 the work Arjuna's Penance, Mahabalipuram, near Madras was auctioned for GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,471.31).
