This artwork by John Fulleylove achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House auction, the work The Hall of St. John's College, Cambridge (illustrated); and The Hall of Trinity College, Cambridge sold for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,688.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by John Fulleylove; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Virgin's fountain, Nazareth sold at auction in June 2004 with the realized price of GBP 2,868.00 (€ 4,268.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Fulleylove erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House wurde die Arbeit The Hall of St. John's College, Cambridge (illustrated); and The Hall of Trinity College, Cambridge für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.688,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von John Fulleylove; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Virgin's fountain, Nazareth im Juni 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.868,00 (€ 4.268,44).
