Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work "Flicka med vit rand" (Girl with white stripe) by John-Erik Franzén for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 9,229.82). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by John-Erik Franzén have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 720,000.00 (€ 83,068.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Flicka med vit rand" (Girl with white stripe) von John-Erik Franzén für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 9.229,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John-Erik Franzén auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Sanningen om Texas Rose II" ( The Truth about Texas Rose II) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 720.000,00 (€ 83.068,41).
