This artwork by John Duncan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2007. In the The Scottish Sale auction, the work Eriskay, Outer Hebrides sold for GBP 6,240.00 (€ 9,182.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Duncan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heptu Bidding Farewell To The City Of Obb in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 120,000.00 (€ 177,391.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Duncan erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Scottish Sale wurde die Arbeit Eriskay, Outer Hebrides für GBP 6.240,00 (€ 9.182,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Duncan erzielen.
