This artwork by John Cunningham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2005. In the The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh auction, the work Snowscape sold for GBP 5,280.00 (€ 7,786.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Cunningham - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Table Top, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,177.13).

In der Auktion The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh wurde die Arbeit Snowscape für GBP 5.280,00 (€ 7.786,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Cunningham mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Table Top beobachtet, die im November 2001 für GBP 16.450,00 (€ 26.177,13) versteigert wurde.
