Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2004 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work The Norwich to London Royal Mail coach by John Cordrey. The price achieved of USD 3,824.00 (€ 3,110.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Cordrey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Brighton To London Royal Mail, which sold at auction in June 2001 for USD 8,225.00 (€ 9,706.16).

Im März 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Norwich to London Royal Mail coach von John Cordrey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.824,00 (€ 3.110,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
