This work of art by John Carroll could be acquired at Christies in New York in August 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Hand with flowers changed hands for USD 60.00 (€ 46.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Carroll achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Champions in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 31,200.00 (€ 25,702.28).
