Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work A Seated Nude By A Waterfall by John Bulloch Souter for GBP 262.90 (€ 389.10). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Bulloch Souter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The fortune Teller in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,990.00 (€ 12,892.67).
