Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Patti in a Jumpsuit, Venice. by John Bratby was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,120.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Bratby achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Oranges in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,858.47).
