Admittedly, works by John Atkinson Grimshaw have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Liverpool Custom House And Wapping in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 612,800.00 (€ 909,471.91).
