The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,585.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by John Arthur Lomax have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Doubt in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 10,575.00 (€ 16,762.68).
