Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by John Armleder was auctioned at Phillips in 12 - in April this year. The price achieved of GBP 15,240.00 (€ 17,368.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Armleder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chabasite in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 198,473.28).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von John Armleder kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 12 - zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.240,00 (€ 17.368,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Armleder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chabasite im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 198.473,28).
