Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans titre - 1995 by John Armleder. It changed hands for a price of EUR 27,552.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Armleder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chabasite in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 198,473.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre - 1995 von John Armleder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 27.552,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Armleder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chabasite im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 198.473,28).
