Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February this year Artcurial held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work Splash - 1994 by John Armleder. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 984.00 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Armleder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chabasite in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 198,473.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Splash - 1994 von John Armleder zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 984,00 und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Armleder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chabasite im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 198.473,28).
