Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Breakfast, Man Eating) by Tony Tuckson was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in May 2004. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 5,019.00 (€ 2,932.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Tuckson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Red, Black And White) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 89,625.00 (€ 52,900.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Breakfast, Man Eating) von Tony Tuckson kam im Mai 2004 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 5.019,00 (€ 2.932,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony Tuckson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Red, Black And White) im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 89.625,00 (€ 52.900,83).
