Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British & Irish Art, which included the work The Mousehole Harbour Cornwall by John Anthony Park. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,415.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by John Anthony Park have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St Ives in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,216.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mousehole Harbour Cornwall von John Anthony Park zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.415,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Anthony Park auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St Ives im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.216,59).
