A top price for Johannes Schouten
In July 2018 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work A view of the Singel with the Munttoren, Amsterdam by Johannes Schouten. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,306.86). With this result, A view of the Singel with the Munttoren, Amsterdam is even the most expensive work of art by Johannes Schouten that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Johannes Schouten
Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of the Singel with the Munttoren, Amsterdam von Johannes Schouten zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.306,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A view of the Singel with the Munttoren, Amsterdam sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Johannes Schouten, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
