In the 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures auction, the work Feeding Time sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,298.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Mari ten Kate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Departure Of The Fishing Fleet, Volendam, which sold at auction in April 2007 for EUR 10,800.00.

In der Auktion 19th Century European Pictures including Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Feeding Time für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.298,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Mari ten Kate mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Departure Of The Fishing Fleet, Volendam beobachtet, die im April 2007 für EUR 10.800,00 versteigert wurde.
