This artwork by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2000. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work The little cowherd sold for NLG 14,042.40 (€ 5,973.96) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow, which sold at auction in October 2002 for EUR 14,340.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas erzielte im März 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit The little cowherd für NLG 14.042,40 (€ 5.973,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für EUR 14.340,00 versteigert wurde.
