Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Cows In A Summer Landscape by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,240.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow in October 2002 with an auction result of EUR 14,340.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cows In A Summer Landscape von Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.240,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.340,00.
