The result of EUR 1,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Johannes Hubertus Leonardus de Haas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cows in a sunlit riverlandscape; Cows in a meadow in October 2002 with an auction result of EUR 14,340.00.
